Littleover Lane Allotments Association
Littleover Lane Allotment Association is a well established and safe site situated in Littleover on the outskirts of the city of Derby. We have 193 individual plots on the 11.8 acres site.
We are a friendly community of fruit, vegetable and flower growers who enjoy this quiet haven hidden from the hustle and bustle of city life, including our family of foxes and lots of hedgehogs.
The soil on site is generally heavy clay, so can be challenging to work, but is very fertile and supports a huge range of produce. All kinds of vegetables, flowers, fruit trees and bushes can be found growing on the allotments. Some plot holders specialise in growing rare heritage varieties, and we have others that have vineyards, grow exhibition quality dahlias and even cacti!
